Happy Birthday Jesus!

The past year in the Price home...

Simon loves being a Pastor...he does so well with the youth and his staff and is blessed by all of them! He has also been blessed with many opportunities to preach in the alternative adult service and has learned so much through it. In April we were able to go to the Bay Area to visit family & friends and the reason we went was so Simon could marry a young couple who are very close to us! It was truly special for him (us) to be apart of their special day. He loves the experiences God has put in His life and continues to keep his eyes on Jesus and it is evident!

Annette has been involved in several things including leading a Beth Moore Bible study for women on Wednesday mornings...it has truly been a blessing to her. She also was able to be an elective speaker at a Jr. High/High School girls conference that our church puts on every year. Last year she did an elective on How to be a H.I.P. Girl...a girl with Honesty, Integrity, & Purity (HIP)...teaching young girls how to be hip by God's standards, not the worlds standards. She also was able to take a group of 8th grade girls to a Jr. High all girls conference in Anaheim called Revolve. It was a great bonding time between the girls and the staff. She continues to seek God and is excited to see what else He will put in her path.

Hawk started kindergarten this year and loves it! His teacher is awesome and we are thankful for her. He has made some great friends through his class and we are thankful for that. He recently celebrated his 6th birthday and had a Star Wars theme...we had friends dress as characters from the movie who came and took pictures with the boys...will post pictures soon! Hawk is such a blessing and is a loving boy who takes care of Huntley all the time. He is a good friend to others and we hope we can continue to nurture Christ like qualities in him.

Hudson is in preschool and thrives off of it! He definitely is a boy who needs structure. His teachers love him and we are thankful for them. He celebrated his 3rd birthday (July 22nd) with a monkey theme...we had banana pancakes, went and saw Space Chimps the movie, went to Build A Bear and made a monkey, and ended the day with monkey cupcakes! We are teaching him how to be a good big brother...as we all know, it is hard to go from being the baby to being the middle child ;) He definitely keeps us laughing at all the things he says and does!

Huntley has been such a blessing to our family...he is always smiling! He just turned one on November 5th and we made him a cake and celebrated as a family. He is getting the hang of walking and says "tee too" for thank you. He signs more and all done when he eats. He is a busy body who loves to go up our stairs...it drives us crazy! He is a cuddly bear and as much as we would love for him to stay this age, he is growing into a fun little toddler and we know that there are more fun character traits to come!

Simon and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary in August and our 14th dating anniversary in July! Wow...time flies! This year has been filled with many Disneyland trips with the boys, a trip to Vegas (thanks Hemme's), a trip to Tahoe (thanks Leesa), trips to the beach, and we did a week at the new Hume San Diego for our Jr. High summer camp (thanks Rossmangos & Price's for taking the boys)! We look forward to what God has in store for our family in 2009! We pray you all have a blessed Christmas and Happy New Year!
